SteadyChair, booking software for barbershops

Booking that knows where your clients came from.

Clients book from your own page, walk-ins sign in at the desk, and every booking shows whether they found you on Instagram, on Google, through an ad or from a friend.

$50 a month per shop, month to month, cancel anytime. No booking fees for you or your clients.

Where they came from

See what is actually filling your chairs.

Every booking keeps how they found you: your Instagram bio, your Google listing, an ad, a regular's link or the front door. Analytics adds it up, so you can see how many each one brought in, how many turned up and how many were new.

For the shop

The whole shop, on one screen.

Every barber's day, the walk-in line and the numbers, from the same place, on a laptop at the desk or the phone in your pocket.

The shop's calendar for a day, a column for each barber

Day, week and month, with a column for each barber. Move a booking, add a break or block off a holiday from the same screen.

And in your pocket.

Add it to your home screen and it opens like an app: who is next, who is in the chair and who is waiting, with a tap to call or open the day.

Barbers get their own login and see their own book and their own clients.

No booking fees

$0

to book, for you or your clients.

Clients book from your link in any browser, with no app to download. SteadyChair charges nothing to you or your clients when a client books. Card payments carry Stripe's or Square's usual processing fee. If you choose to have Small Cove run your ads, that is a separate service with its own fee, shown before you agree.

Reminders on their own

A confirmation by email when they book, then a reminder the day before and another two hours before. By text too, once your shop's texting number is set up.

Deposits and no-show protection

Connect Stripe and take a deposit or full payment, or keep a card on file so a no-show can be charged. Paying at the shop always works.

Every client in one place

Visits, notes and family on the same number. Block someone from booking online and they are asked to call instead.

Everyone sees their own part

Barbers see their own book and clients, and the front desk runs the day without seeing what the shop takes in.

Offers that run themselves

Switch one on and it runs by itself whenever it applies.

Email campaigns

Write one email and send it to every client who said yes to offers, or only to one barber's regulars, now or at a time you pick. By text too, once your shop's texting number is set up.

Chairs open Thursday afternoon

Hi Sam, we have chairs open Thursday afternoon. Grab one here: steadychair.com/book/demo/main-street

Sample email. Only people who agreed to offers get it, and every one can unsubscribe.

Connect what you already use

Connect each one from SteadyChair. Facebook, Instagram and Google show their last 30 days in the app, and Square and Stripe payments sit on the bookings they belong to.

All in one shop

Your booking, your website and your ads, in one place.

If you're paying one company for booking, someone else for your website and an agency for ads, none of them talk to each other. Here it all sits under one login, so a client your website or your ads brought in lands on your calendar already marked with where they came from.

The core

SteadyChair

Your booking page, a calendar for every barber, the front desk and every client's history, with where each one came from. Everything else plugs into it.

Add-on

Your website, built by Small Cove

Built from your real cuts, your barbers and your reviews, and every booking button goes straight to your SteadyChair page.

Add-on

Your ads, run by Small Cove

If you want it, we set up and run your ads on Meta, and Google if you like, and the clients they bring in show up marked as coming from your ads. It stays off unless you switch it on from Grow.

Use SteadyChair on its own, and add either one whenever you want. What they cost

How it works

Three steps to your first booking.

01

Set up your shop

Add your barbers, their hours and your prices in about five minutes, and bring your client list over from the system you use now.

02

Share your link

Put it in your Instagram bio, on your Google listing and on your website. Clients book straight from there, with no app.

03

Watch the book fill

Bookings land on the calendar showing where each client came from, and the Grow page helps you fill what is left.

Who built it

Made by people who run ads for barbershops.

Small Cove Media runs Meta ads for barbershops, and we built SteadyChair because we needed to see which ads were actually putting people in chairs. If you want us to run your ads too, the clients they bring in show up here marked as coming from your ads. We build websites too, with every booking button going straight to your SteadyChair page.

Questions owners ask.

What does SteadyChair cost?

$50 a month per shop, month to month, cancel anytime. If you cancel, it stays on to the end of the month you paid for. There are no booking fees for you or your clients. Running your ads and building your website are separate, and only if you choose them.

Do my clients pay anything to book?

SteadyChair adds nothing to what they pay. If you ask for a deposit or full payment, they pay that to your shop when they book, through your own Stripe or Square account.

Do my clients need to download an app?

No. They book from your link in any browser. You and your barbers can add SteadyChair to your phone's home screen so it opens like an app.

Can I bring my clients over from Squire, Booksy or another system?

Yes. Export your client list from your old system and import it, with each client's last visit, so your regulars are recognized the first time they book with you here. Your upcoming bookings come over too, so nobody already booked has to book again.

What about walk-ins?

The front desk screen runs the walk-in line, and an iPad by the door lets people sign themselves in. A walk-in becomes a client record with their history, the same as someone who booked.

Does it send texts?

Confirmations, reminders and campaigns go out by email now, and by text once your shop's texting number is set up. Small Cove sets that up with you.

Can you build my website?

Yes. Small Cove builds it from your real cuts, barbers and reviews, and every booking button goes to your SteadyChair page. It's $297 to build and $50 a month after that, which covers hosting, upkeep and any edits you send. Ask for it from the Your website page once your shop is set up.

Can you run my ads?

Yes, and only if you choose it. Switch it on from Grow and Small Cove sets up and runs your ads on Meta, and Google if you want. There's a one-time $497 setup fee, then 35% of each new client's first visit when our ads brought them in, on the service price and never the tip. Your shop pays for the ads on its own ad account, and anyone who found you on their own, through your link, Instagram, Google or a walk-in, is never charged.

Who can see the money?

The owner. Barbers see their own column and their own clients, and the front desk runs the day without seeing takings. A manager reads the numbers but not the owner's takings.

Walk round the demo shop.

The demo is a sample shop with made-up clients and bookings. Click through it with nothing to sign up for. When you are ready, setting up yours takes about five minutes.
